Republished here are a series of promotional flyers for Black Matrix for Sega Saturn and Black Matrix AD.
Black Matrix Cross is not represented here as Cross's promotion was largely limited to Kyoko Tsuchiya's "Black Matrix Cross Chop" fan site. There is a doujin still in circulation on second hand sites with Tsuchiya's sketches from "Cross Chop" in printed form.
As far as the author is aware, this is the only place where you can find full body art for the masters as they appeared in AD and Cross as recruitable characters. These also contain a few early screenshots of the game and a small amount of concept artwork, some previously seen in various strategy guides and magazine reviews.

Sega Saturn Promo Flyer
There are two interesting changes to the background story mentioned in this page:
- The "black winged ones" are said to be angels ("tenshi"), as are the white winged ones that they overthrew. Contrary to the final backstory where the black winged ones are implied to be demons, though their origin isn't fully explained until very late in the game.
- The silent main character is named "Azel" (アゼル) instead of Abel. Is this a typo, or a hint that "Cain and Abel" was a late addition to the plot?
