To Elselands
Source: Megami Tensei I • II Soundtrack Booklet
A few places we enjoy, and the reasons we do. Often run by friends of the Bookstore. Order is meaningless.
Nightfall City
Tiny interactive hub place that our site happens to be a part of, with many low tech things to see and do.
Felix at Home
Former journal neighbours, Felix is a writer of fiction, static and interactive alike.
Devichil Info
The only other Devil Children site active on the Internet we know and love. Anecdotally, it seems Canadians happen to make up 100% of the English-language fan base?
Mokomoko's Monologue (Japanese)
Our friend and fellow Megami Tensei II obsessed fanatic Ma (Mokomoko) left Twitter shortly after we did. Her site channels a familiar time of the blue bird.
Aeon Genesis
In the far-off age of 2002, Gideon Zhi posted a fan translation of Shin Megami Tensei for the Super Famicom on the Atlus USA phpBB. We've been playing these bits ever since, though our interests have expanded. Heck, we even got married over our fondness of Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei II. Do have a look at Splatterworld if you get a chance.
Japan Game Stock
Before cartridge and second hand CD game prices fell extremely out of reach, Interipelli used to go here to buy a dozen Saturn titles at a time for less than $50 CAD on a mail room salary. The actual store backing the site is closed, and the layout has been breaking in strange ways. Still, it's worth a look through their catalogue to pick out obscure games.
Mostdeep Games
Kamonabe's outlet for small 90s-influenced games, hoping to return to Karuma and the Falling Moon in between life expenses.
Boltac's Trading Post (Japanese)
A decades-old fan site for all things classic Wizardry.
Megaten & Atlus Staff Information Wiki (Japanese)
This Miraheze hosted wiki is run by Megatenist Tadano, doing the thankless work of chasing down individual staff members through aliases, typos, and uncredited work. By far the most accurate resource of its kind when it comes to reporting on Atlus history. More so than the frequently misleading official sources.
Bapsago's YouTube Channel
A webcomics creator and YouTuber with a focus on simulation games with little computer people. They kindly reached out to us for doujin material shared within their series on Life Sims on whatever became of the Princess Maker game(s) with Karen. We recommend starting with Breaking Up Dating Sims or Games for Women depending on your preferences to immerse yourself in the legacy of Koei's Angelique and Konami's Tokimeki Memorial and the far too many bits that have been inspired by them — including later iterations of Princess Maker.
